Already There!

When I watch a movie, I sometimes prefer to go read the summarised plot on Wikipedia in the stead of killing myself with the suspense. But I have learnt that every scene in a good movie contributes to the universal plot of the story being told. No word is a mistake. Every action is a key to the whole puzzle.

Sometimes, when we look at the happenings in our lives, we wonder whether God could have fallen asleep. Today I just want to share some lines from the lyrics of Casting Crowns’ Already There. I am certain you will be encouraged by these words as I have found solace in them myself.

From where I’m standing
Lord it’s so hard for me to see
Where this is going
And where You’re leading me
I wish I knew how
All my fears and all my questions
Are gonna play out
In a world I can’t control
Oh, oh
When I’m lost in the mystery
To You my future is a memory
Cause You’re already there
You’re already there
Standing at the end of my life
Waiting on the other side
And You’re already there
You’re already there

Myles Munroe once noted that your conception is proof that there is something finished that you were born to start. Destiny produced you.

So, no matter what you may be going through, I encourage you to find strength in the reality of God’s Providence by which he is able to make all things work together for your good. Entertain no fear for your future. Rather, let faith inspire your confidence that God will fulfill His purpose for you and at the end, when all the pieces make sense, you will know without doubt, that God is the Alpha and Omega. You can trust Him!
